My Journey to Coaching: Where Neuroscience Meets Creativity (and a bit of Nerdiness)

Welcome !

If you’ve landed here, you’re probably curious about who I am, what led me to become a coach, and what kind of content you can expect from this blog. So grab a cup of something warm ☕, settle in, and let’s dive into this story—complete with a mix of brain science, creativity, and a dash of fantasy.

Who Am I?

I’m a certified professional coach (RNCP accredited) with a geek-level love for neuroscience, storytelling, and all things creativity. My coaching practice is all about helping people dare to express themselves fully—think of it as leveling up your self-expression stat in the game of life.

Before I officially became a coach, I lived several lives (figuratively, of course): I was a manager, a trainer, a performer on stage, and an all-around creative human. I’ve spent years exploring what makes people tick, what makes them freeze, and what helps them break free.

But let’s get real, I didn’t just wake up one day thinking, “I’m going to change lives!” Nope. Life threw curveballs (hello, long COVID), moments of clarity, and lots of trial and error my way. Somewhere along the line, I realized that helping people navigate their own epic quests (a.k.a. life) is what I’m meant to do.

Why I Became a Coach

Honestly? It’s because I love seeing people unblock themselves and go from “I can’t” to “Wait, maybe I can!” There’s something magical about helping someone rewrite the story they’ve been telling themselves for years.

And here’s where things got nerdy for me: I discovered that combining neuroscience (because brains are cool) with creativity (because life’s too short for boring solutions) creates a coaching approach that’s both practical and fun.

Now, I work with clients who:

  • Want to get unstuck without boring self-help clichés.

  • Are ready to transform stress into a superpower (or at least something less awful).

  • Crave a life where they feel more authentically themselves (no more playing the NPC in someone else’s story).

What to Expect from This Blog

If you’re hoping for super-serious posts full of jargon… this probably isn’t the blog for you. But if you want:

  1. Science-Backed Insights (with a twist):
Yes, I’ll talk about how your brain works—but in a way that doesn’t require a PhD to understand. Think of it as brain science for humans who like relatable analogies.

  2. Creative Approaches to Personal Growth:
Expect things like storytelling exercises, imaginative ways to set goals, and methods to turn boring tasks into adventures.

  3. Real Talk & Personal Stories:
I’ll share the highs, the lows, and the “what was I thinking?” moments from my own life, because coaching isn’t about pretending life is perfect. It’s about figuring things out as we go.

  4. Practical Tools (That You’ll Actually Use):
No fluff here. Just actionable tools and techniques to help you tackle life’s challenges: whether it’s managing stress, setting goals, or finally speaking up in that meeting.

Why Neuroscience + Creativity = Powerful Coaching

Here’s the thing: understanding how your brain works is like having the cheat codes to your own life. But knowing the science isn’t enough. You need to engage your imagination and make the process fun.

That’s why I mix neuroscience with creativity. It’s like blending logic with magic—you get a system that’s not only effective but also enjoyable. After all, if personal growth feels like a chore, you’re probably not going to stick with it.

Let’s embark on this epic quest together. ⚔️
